Radio Recovery Via CPS2 and RM

Radio Management (RM) cannot do a radio recovery. This can only be accomplished in the Customer Programming Software (CPS).

With a radio from RM needing a recovery, use the following procedure to accomplish it:

1. Write down the radio's ID number
2. Launch CPS2
3. Initiate the Recover Radio procedure for CPS2 (either same firmware or newer)
   1. Despite the warning, the radio should not drop it's EIDs and other fancy stuff put in
4. With the radio now recovered via CPS2, re-write the codeplug from inside RM
   1. If you get the "device modified outside of RM database" error, read the radio back into RM, but do NOT tick the "apply config to radio" box. Once added back to RM, apply the config from RM like normal (and use the radio ID you wrote down earlier!)
5. Profit
