Chrome's Privacy Sandbox
Google's Privacy Sandbox information:

The concept of all this was to allow websites to access user information without compromising "privacy." Of course, this imitative was led by the largest ad company on Earth, Google. The idea was to facilitate online advertising by sharing a subset of user private information without the use of third-party cookies. Essentially, despite this being branded as something related to privacy, it's still tracking but done by just one company instead of dozens. If you cant figure out what I mean, search the web for behavior tracking and trends and you will get the point.
Debating if this is a good idea or not, well, I'll leave that to you - make your own decision. I stopped using Chrome a while ago, and have now opted for a more privacy focused browser (at the time of this writing, Firefox) where there are some inherent privacy respecting things built in. Likewise, check out the myriad of videos about it online too. They will do way better in explaining these than I can here, and this site is not a blog, so lets get on with it.
When installing Google Chrome, you are presented with the ability to opt-in or out of this. You can also disable this post-installation.
